Step 1: Wash Your Hands
Always start with clean hands to avoid contaminating the filter.
Step 2: Remove the Upper Chamber
Carefully lift the upper stainless-steel chamber and set it aside.
Step 3: Unscrew the Old Cartridge
Twist off the wing nut holding the filter cartridge in place and remove the old unit.
Step 4: Prepare the New Cartridge

Activate the Filter: Prime the cartridge by running clean water through it several times until the water runs clear. This ensures the filter media is fully saturated and ready to work properly.
